Topics - MPs in Britain are about to debate a big report commissioned into cycling, how to get more Brits on bikes and make cycling safer. At 9 this morning, the Marriage Amendment Act came into law, allowing same sex couples to marry. The law is now defines marriage as "the union of two people, regardless of their sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity." Would you consider tampons to be a necessity item? Social Blogger Tulia Thompson wrote this morning that her friends were unable to purchase them using the WINZ payment cards and were told by WINZ employees that tampons were luxury items. New research suggests fruit juice could be worse for you than fizzy drinks.
