Coming up roses

Everything's coming up roses for Stephen Stocks and his wife Daphne, the hardest working flower growers in Levin. At the age of 70 and 81 respectively, Stephen and Daphne are still passionate about growing their roses, and thanks to their green fingers and elbow grease , their 2000 square metre section is producing about 400,000 blooms a year. They supply the flowers to commercial florists all over the region.
