Topics - With all the dramas happening lately involving Members of Parliament, it's no surprise they have ended up at the bottom of a new Trust and Confidence poll. Lest we forget, because we do forget, three years ago today one of the ghastliest episodes of the Afghanistan conflict took place. Returning home from a three-week trek on foot to deliver free medical care to the remotest regions of the country, twelve aid workers including doctors and nurses were accosted by gunmen with long dyed-red beards, marched into a forest, stood in a line and shot. The NBR asks an interesting question about the effectiveness of the new Kiwibank television campaign.
