Auckland Story for 26 June 2013 - Sustainability Street

Lisa Thompson finds out about an Australian initiative being piloted in Auckland called Sustainability Street. It's a neighbourhood approach to sustainable living which starts with a group of residents called 'streeters' who learn ways to minimise waste and reduce energy and water consumption in their own homes. The project is part of Auckland Council's ambitious goal of achieving zero waste in the city by 2040.
