Our Changing World - urban kaka

After decades, and sometimes centuries, of absence, native wildlife is staging a comeback around the country - and in some cases having natural neighbours again is taking a bit of adjustment. In Wellington, large native forest parrots, or kaka, have become a common sight in the central city and the council and some property owners are finding out the hard way that these noisy birds come equipped with a very strong beak. Alison Ballance joins Victoria University student Kerry Charles to find out what these urban kaka have been getting up to.
