70 years ago today, 133 elite airmen in the Royal Airforce 617 Squadron, including a handful of Kiwis, flew a daring mission to bomb dams on the Ruhr River in Germany's Industrial heartland. The New Zealand Air Force Museum at Wigram has a special exhibit to honor the dambusters.
