Takaka doctor Clare McMahon

From Afternoons, 2:10 pm on 10 April 2013

For seven weeks Dr Clare McMahon lived in a remote village in Kenya working with children, many of them AIDS orphans, treating them for TB, pneumonia, malaria and skin infections. She knew her skills as a doctor would make a big difference to the people of Musanda, but she didn't expected the people of Musanda to make such an impact on her. Since returning to New Zealand she's decided to sell her home in Golden Bay and return to Kenya. Dr McMahon is working with The Nasio Trust.
