Pro Wrestling

From Afternoons, 2:10 pm on 5 April 2013

Every Friday night in Blenheim, a group of 15-year-olds gets ready to rumble. They are the Young Lions, part of a club that teaches students how to be professional wrestlers. But before they can learn the dramatic moves that made Hulk Hogan and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson household names, they're taught the basics of grappling and the art of falling without sustaining injury. The Club was started by former Wellington-based wrestler, Geoff Anderson.
