Vietnam Vets

They were a combat ready unit of soldiers from the 1st Battalion Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment serving in Vietnam in 1968. Victor Company, were deployed in South Vietnam, and have the distinction of surviving more than 100 days in the jungle, without a break, while deployed with ANZAC forces. This weekend, more than 50 veterans from VIctor Company will be gathering for a reunion in Hawke's Bay.
