A thank you for a World War II kindness

From Afternoons, 2:10 pm on 11 October 2012

A British man, Roger Button, would like to repay an act of kindness done by some Invercargill school children 60 years ago. When Roger was just 8 years old, a student at Avenue Road School in Norwich when hope arrived in the form of a parcel from school children in Invercargill. They sent food parcels, filled with tins of fruit and meat. Roger and his wife Valerie are coming to New Zealand in December and he would like to meet anyone from that Invercargill school who sent the parcels so he can thank them in person.
