Our Changing World - Post-Rena Environmental Monitoring

It's been nearly nine months since the cargo vessel Rena ran aground, spilling more than 350 tonnes of oil, much of which came ashore on Bay of Plenty beaches. The big question is whether there are any lasting impacts on the marine environment, and that's something that Chris Battershill from Waikato University and David Schiel from the University of Canterbury are studying as part of the Rena Recovery programme.
