Southern Story for 14 June 2012 - Luminate Festival

It's a steep climb from Riwaka to the top of Takaka Hill, and an even steeper climb from Golden Bay. But at the top of the hill popularly known as Marble Mountain, is Canaan Downs - a magical spot that's been a site for dance parties for decades. Luminate Festival is not strictly a dance party though - it strives to have minimal environmental impact and build a sense of community through music and knowledge sharing.
