Our Changing World - Otago Roof Garden

There's a secret garden in the middle of the University of Otago campus. It's two years old, and is the crowning glory of a sustainable building with a 5-Star Green Star rating. This hidden roof garden has been planted with native plants carefully chosen by Janice Lord from the Botany Department. Alison Ballance meets Janice, and Hans Pietsch and Mark Mason from the university's energy and sustainability team, to find out more about the building and its green roof.
