At the age of seven he played a piano concert at Carnegie Hall. At 15 he was touring the States with his own band. By the time he was 20, he was a member of one of the biggest music groups of the sixties. Now, almost two generations on, his music is still played nightly in a number venues around the world, in a stage musical based on his life.
