Your Place - Karitane

From Afternoons, 1:15 pm on 3 November 2011

We go south today to the Otago coast, midway between Palmerston in the north and Dunedin in the south. The town of Karitane is of pre-European significance for its abundance of kaimoana and waterfowl; in post-European settlement, it's most well known as the home of Dr Truby King, a pioneer of post-natal healthcare.
