Your Place - Falkland Islands

From Afternoons, 1:20 pm on 1 September 2011

The Falkland Islands is a group of 744 islands, a self-governing sovereign British territory located 450 km from Argentina and 8500 km from Auckland. Traditionally thought of as a barren, rocky outpost of the British empire, it's home to just over 3000 residents, including a fair number of Kiwis over the years.
