Claude Choules

From Afternoons, 2:10 pm on 6 May 2011

Claude Stanley Choules, the last surviving First World War combatant, has died. He was the last known male survivor of the 70 million military personnel who fought World War I. The Victorian RSL president Maj-Gen David McLachlan says we will never again see men like those who served in WW1.
