Ninety-one-year-old cyclist

From Afternoons with Jesse Mulligan, 2:28 pm on 2 May 2011

Bruce Christopher is 91 and still cycles 40 kms a week. Avanti gave him a bike for his 90th birthday, making him the oldest sponsored cyclist in New Zealand. He's the senior rider with the Manukau City Veterans Cycle Club. They get together every Sunday and hit the roads around Papakura, south of Auckland. Bruce's passion for cycling started 80 years ago when he swapped a horse for the bike as his mode of transporation to school.
