Heston Blumenthal

From Afternoons, 2:10 pm on 25 March 2011

Award-winning British chef Heston Blumenthal is just as comfortable with a blow torch as he is with a food processor, creating unusual dishes using industrial technology in the Kitchen. You need to be part mad scientist, part chef to create dishes like snail porridge and bacon and egg ice cream. Blumenthal is best known to New Zealanders for TV shows such as Heston's Feast, in which he recreates fairytale meals from history. The three-star Michelin chef is on his first visit to New Zealand this weekend for the sellout 3 Chefs event at The Farm at Cape Kidnappers.
