A new study by the National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research shows one way snapper outsmart weekend anglers looking to catch a snapper dinner. NIWA scientists have discovered snapper living inside marine reserves are more likely to stick close to home to to avoid being caught. Scientists used tags to monitor fish inside and outside the Leigh marine Reserve north of Auckland.
