Burt's Daughter

From Afternoons, 2:23 pm on 25 November 2010

Burt Munro is a New Zealand motorcycling legend. From his home in Invercargill, he worked for 20 years to modify a 1920 Indian motorcycle that set land speed records in 1967 that still stand today. The Burt Munro Challange in Southland started 5 years ago to honor Munro. Watching some of the races is Munro's daughter, 80-year-old Gwen Henderson. But she has another reason to be in Southland. A keen artist, Henderson has her first ever solo art exhibition at the Riverton Arts Centre.
