Harold Williams

Harold Williams may be the most accomplished New Zealander you've never heard of. Born in in 1876, he was a gifted linguist, and foreign editor of The Times during a tumultous period in history. Williams is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the world's great linguist, speaking 58 languages. He's the only man ever to attend the League of Nations and talk to every delegate in his own language.
