Creative crisis

For the first time ever, research shows that American creativity is declining. Americans are getting smarter, but less creative. IQ scores are going up, but creativity scores, especially those of younger children, are declining significantly. Ashley Merryman is an attorney, author and former speechwriter for the Clinton administration. She is also the co-author of the acclaimed and widely-discussed book Nurtureshock, and talks to us about the dilemma.
