Yesterday we had a big response to an RNZ story about the toll that increases to the cost of living were taking on pensioners.
The messages were tough to read - people struggling to pay for food, insurance, power, rent and their mortage repayments.
Marie Stanley is a 72 year-old pensioner struggling with the cost of living and she has a message for younger people about preparing for the future.
