Stop-motion animation training at University of Canterbury

Even if you don't recognise Aardman Animations by name we're certain you'll have fond memories of their work.

Wallace and Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, Chicken Run - their stop-motion animations have resonated with people of all ages across generations.

This week it was announced the University of Canterbury has struck a deal with their training wing, known as Aardman Academy.

This deal will make Canterbury the only educational institution in the Pacific to specialise in stop-motion animation.
