How a nine day fortnight suits a Waikato company

Even if you love your job  there are still some Mondays when you really don't want to drag yourself into work. Or maybe a it's on Fridays when you'd rather start the weekend early.

But, as far as the economy goes we have a tendency to assume more work and longer hours are the key to economic growth.

For the last 12 months Cambridge company Te Miro water have been trialing a nine day fortnight. That is a three days off every other weekend.

We speak to Te Miro's co-founder Britta Jensen about the pros and cons of their approach.
