Each year young horticulturists from around the country battle it out for the title of 'Young Horticulturist of the Year'.
Fruit and vegetable growers against florists; landscapers against winegrowers - the variety within the industry is huge.
They're tested on their practical horticulture skills, leadership ability, business acumen, and industry knowledge.
And this years winner stumbled into the industry while on a trip to New Zealand eight years ago and has never looked back.
