For this week's Bookmarks we are speaking to Dr Malvindar Singh-Bains from the University of Auckland's Centre for Brain Research.
Dr Singh-Bains research focuses on neurodegenerative diseases such as Huntington's Disease and Alzheimers.
Stories from around the world of people affected by Huntington's including young people. She helped write the first chapter, giving insight into what Huntington's Disease is.
Outside the lab, she is dedicated to raising awareness, which includes setting-up Huntington's Disease Youth Organisation NZ.
