Increase in dogs being rehomed after lockdown increase in adoptions

A dog rescuer in Auckland says she's had her busier year ever re-homing puppies and dogs that have been abandoned by their owners.

In the past six weeks, Amanda Fraser-Jones has had 50 applications for re-homing, and she thinks lockdown could be behind the increase.

Amanda is the founder of Chained Dog Rehabilitation and Rehoming, and she talks to Karyn about what they're seeing.
