When a record company executive saw a video on You Tube of a University men's acapella group doing an original version of 12 Days of Christmas, a mashup of Christmas classics, he signed them immediately. More than 10 years later, Christmas still holds special meaning for the group, Straight No Chaser. At the height of the pandemic, when members were in quarantine all over the US, they recorded a Christmas Album over Zoom to cheer themselves up. We'll talk to baritone Seggie Isho about putting the cool in Christmas music and acapella groups.
