Forty years ago the country was gearing up for one of its biggest political conflicts of the 20th century - the 1981 Springbok Tour.
Wellington City Libraries and Wellington Archives have joined forces this year to mark the events of 1981 as they happened. The Twitter account Tweet the Tour is live tweeting things as they happened.
