Chinese space rocket could land near NZ

From Afternoons, 1:30 pm on 5 May 2021

There's a large rocket falling from the sky. But don't panic, it will probably fall at sea. The Chinese Long March 5B rocket has dropped into low orbit and will eventually land on earth. Astronomer, astrobiologist, former NASA scientist and author Duncan Steele is currently living and working in Nelson and he joins Jesse to discuss what on earth, or around it, is going on.

The Long March-5B Y2 rocket, carrying the Tianhe module, blasts off from the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site in south China's Hainan Province on 29 April, 2021.
