Are we now breathing in plastics from the air?

Tiny pieces of plastic are floating in New Zealand's air, according to the first study of its kind in this country.

The findings are from research by the University of Canterbury and the Institute of Environmental Science and Research.

University of Canterbury atmospheric chemist Dr Laura Revell was one of the paper's authors and explains to Jesse the significance of their find.
