A Masters of Landscape Architecture student at Auckland's UNITEC has seen his research project begin to come to life. Rob Small's project was to investigate how to design a garden that would display the ethnobotany of the Māori people of Aotearoa. He's been working with Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei at the Pourewa Reserve and two million dollars has been raised to restore a Māori garden on land where they traditionally gardened.
