Critter of the Week Alpine Tiger Moth

From Afternoons, 3:35 pm on 4 December 2020

This week’s Critter of the Week is the alpine tiger moth. Doc's Nicola Toki says the females are completely flightless and her children can survive being frozen, but also are cannibalistic and eat their mother. All this, AND the species has at least one fly and one wasp species that are trying to lay eggs inside of them. Talk about living in a horror story!
