Food: Nicola Galloway on cooking broad beans
Nicola Galloway from Homegrown Kitchen joins Jesse to talk broad beans and the Pink Lady Food Photography Awards. Details about the competition and how you can enter are here. Nicola has recently discovered that you can cook the whole pods either in a stew-style dish or popping the beans out once they are cooked like edamame and seasoned with soy sauce and sesame oil. She is also a judge in the international Pink Lady Food Photography Awards. The head judge is David Loftus who photographed many of Jamie Olivers cookbooks among other big name cookbook authors in the UK.
