Thirty years ago in mid-1990, New Zealand's last occupied lighthouse became fully automated, and the era of the lighthouse keeper came to an end. In today's visit to the sound archives with Sarah Johnston we will listen to the men and women of The Lighthouse Service, who lived in some of our most remote places, keeping the lights on for over 130 years.
