'Training wheels' kept on longer for female surgeons - study

New research reveals that 'training wheels' are left on longer for female surgeons. 

Researchers looked at nearly 120,000 surgeries performed by 120 New Zealand general surgery trainees.

Jesse speaks to Dr Deborah Wright, who works as a surgeon at Dunedin Hospital and also lectures at Otago Medical School.
