Mataura talks break down again

Residents in Mataura in Southland are frustrated over a lack of progress in removing toxic waste from the town's former paper mill which sits alongside the Mataura River.

There have already been close calls where the waste has been potentially exposed to water, which would release toxic ammonia fumes into the community.

Newsroom's South Island correspondent and investigative writer talks to Jesse about the latest set back.
