Claire Mabey's taken these past few weeks in lockdown as an opportunity to revisit some of her favourite books - The Absolute Book by Elizabeth Knox, Potiki by Patricia Grace and Bring up the Bodies by Hilary Mantel in preparation for The Mirror and the Light. She's also branched out and devoured some new material and today reviews Anne Enright's The Actress.
