Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to design a t-shirt print to help remember or commemorate this weird time for our country at level 3 and 4.

When future generations look at your t-shirt and ask "what was that all about?" you can tell them about the time we tried to fight a pandemic by panic-buying toilet paper, yeast and flour.

The winner will get their design printed on a t-shirt by the Kiwi fair-trade and sustainable t-shirt company Liminal and it will be available for sale online.

$5 from the sale of every t-shirt will go to a charity of the winners choice and they'll also get 2 free t-shirts.

You can find all of the details here.

When it comes to t-shirt design, simple is best, says artist Dick Frizzell, designer of the iconic print Mickey to Tiki Tu Meke.

"If you're incredibly clever you could think of one dazzling thing that tells the whole story but more likely you'll need two elements, or motifs, working together in your design."

The two design elements should somehow blend together so they have the impact of a logo or an emblem, he says.
