Expert Feature: Maramataka - living by the moon

You will probably have heard about the concept of planting by the moon, using its gravitational force to water your veges and get them growing big root systems to ensure a big harvest. The Maori calendar is known as Maramataka and it turns out there’s a lot more to it than the garden. Ayla Hoeta is a student of Maramataka and writes the monthly update for the Spinoff.
