From Afternoons, 1:13 pm on 28 February 2020

An organisation representing people with rare disorders and their whānau is launching a campaign today calling on the government to establish a framework to help them. There are 300,000 adults and children in New Zealand who have rare disorders and their advocates say the current system is failing them. Chief Executive of Rare Disorders NZ Lisa Foster talks to Jesse about why it's so important to have a firm policy in place and that New Zealand is one of only five countries in the world to not have a framework in place.
