As the year wraps up, lots of school leavers are thinking about what to do next. When it was time for Perrie Thomas to decide on his career pathway from school, a love of fixing things lead him to engineering.
Perrie is in his second year of a fitting and machining apprenticeship at Hayes International in Rotorua, and his hardwork has seen him named the ATNZ Apprentice of the Year.
