Patrick Pound's Summer Holiday 1962 exhibition in Dunedin
At a time in New Zealand when homosexuality was illegal, photographer Patrick Pound put together a montage of snapshots that appeared to be images of frivolous and fun summer moments. Beneath the surface of his material was a hidden and forbidden subject matter that to Patrick was also deeply personal. Originally captured on video this work has now been digitalised and is on diplay in Dunedin Milly Mitchell-Anyon curated the 'Summer Holiday 1962' exhibition at the Dunedin Public Art Gallery's Rear Window gallery on Moray Place.
