Critter of the Week: Boulder butterfly

From Afternoons, 3:27 pm on 30 August 2019

This week DoC's Threatened species Ambassador Nicola Toki tells us about New Zealand's second smallest butterfly, the boulder butterfly or Lycaena boldenarum.

You're most likely to see these butterflies along a river on a sunny day, showing off their colourful wings - but when they're wings are closed, they're almost invisible.
