Toxic masculinity was not part of our vocabulary 20 years ago when family therapist and educator Steve Biddulph first starting talking about how the challenges of modern manhood were making men depressed, angry and even violent.

He says we lost the links that shape healthy manhood in the onslaught of change over the course of the last 100 years. The New Manhood looks at the issues of love, friendship, sex, marriage, and raising children and how to be a good man in the modern world.
