Nearly 50 years ago, the musical Hair premiered in New Zealand - causing outrage around the country, and the world, for its profanity, treatment of drugs and sex, and on-stage nudity.
Rosa Shiels was one of the original cast members, and has written two pieces for the Audioculture website about the experience and the fallout that followed
