Can the media use my FB comments without permission?

Several cases have cropped up recently of people posting comments in both open and closed Facebook groups, and those comments then appearing in print media without the permission of the posters. Canterbury University law dean and media law expert Ursula Cheer joins us to talk about this practice, the letter of the law, and grey areas in the ethics of journalistic sourcing.
