Maru Nihoniho's masters thesis involved launching the on-line game, Takaro. The word means play in Te Reo, and the game focuses on STEM subjects - science, technology, engineering and mathematics - to encourage young people to learn spatial awareness, concept thinking and problem solving.
She runs her own game development studio, called Metia
